Defending a target of 172 , India got the wicket of Lankan opener Karunaratne and it was Bhuvneshar Kumar who caught him infront of the wicket. Cheteshwar Pujara slammed his 16th fifty and he stood tall on a challenging wicket in Eden Gardens Kolkata as the rest of the batsmen floundered. Suranga Lakmal was the star with 4/26 and he was given good support from Dasun Shanaka, Lahiru Gamage and Dilruwan Perera as India were bowled out for 172 on day 3 of the Kolkata Test.
